Individual Representation

Our law firm offers representation and counsel to individuals with all sorts of legal problems and concerns.

Our attorneys have been serving Maine people who have suffered Personal Injuries for more than thirty years, and have developed a reputation for expertise in both trial practice and insurance negotiations. In addition, we represent individuals before the Maine Human Rights Commission and many other federal and state administrative agencies.

We also provide representation to persons involved in Family Law matters, including divorce, custody and child support, adoption, parental rights and responsibilities, protection from abuse, and pre-nuptial agreements, among others. Our experience enables our clients to navigate the complex rules and procedures involved in Maine's Family Law courts.

Wills, Trusts and other Estate and Tax Planning services have long been a staple of our firm's practice. In this sensitive and complex area, our experienced lawyers are skilled in developing the trusted relationships with our clients that are necessary to produce the right plans for a secure financial future. Our lawyers have served as lecturers and faculty in these subjects at the University of Maine School of Law and at many continuing legal education programs sponsored by the Maine State Bar Association.

Real Estate transactions often signify important moments in the lives of our clients. We are there to help with title research, tax filings, appearances before municipal and state agencies, reviewing and drafting purchase and sale agreements, and all other services up to and including the time of closing on a prospective purchase or sale. In addition, our clients know we can offer expert representation in Debtor-Creditor matters, Bankruptcy, and Landlord-Tenant disputes.

By selecting one or more of our attorneys for representation or advice in any of these areas, our clients can be confident that they have established a relationship with a full service law firm that will be able to serve all of their legal needs as they change over time.
