Welcome To Troubh Heisler

Troubh Heisler is a full service law firm with a statewide practice based in Portland. The firm was established in 1995, although many of our attorneys have been practicing together for more than twenty years. We provide a wide range of legal services to meet the diverse needs of our individual and business clients. Using a client-oriented approach, we are committed to providing thorough, efficient, cost-effective legal advice and representation at the highest level of expertise.

Our experienced lawyers work hard to develop practical solutions to real world problems. However large or small a particular problem might be, we are dedicated to providing sound advice and counsel that our clients can trust.

Our attorneys represent individuals with personal injury and medical malpractice claims, estate planning (Wills and Trusts) and probate matters, domestic relations and child custody (family law), or personal financial needs. We represent individuals, businesses, financial institutions, and municipalities seeking guidance on corporate and commercial transactions, tax matters, employment and workers' compensation law, legal ethics, discrimination, human rights, and ADA claims, collections, creditor's rights and bankruptcy, land use and real estate, environmental, and zoning matters. In addition, we are engaged in a wide range of civil litigation.

With some of Maine's most respected legal minds practicing in a wide range of specialties, we offer our clients the benefit of our collective wisdom and experience to address the most complex legal problems. When necessary, our litigation skills and experience give our clients the advantage of being able to pursue their legal problems to a successful conclusion in the courts or before administrative agencies.

In addition to practicing law, many of our attorneys are active participants in civic organizations.

Thank you for your interest in our firm.
